A dynamic Hampton Roads-based research coalition that drives health and innovation in Eastern Virginia

The Hampton Roads Biomedical Research Consortium (HRBRC) is a partnership between the Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences, Norfolk State University, Old Dominion University, and Sentara Health. HRBRC’s objective is to jumpstart scientific research and advance biohealth development and innovation in the region.

Science. Equity. Innovation.

What we do

We partner with researchers and clinicians, government and industry leaders, students and scholars, entrepreneurs and investors, donors and philanthropists, and communities and foundations across efforts in research, equity, and innovation. Our goals are to shape understanding of health in Hampton Roads, improve health and health equity for children and adults, and to drive biohealth development and innovation.
